The ever-increasing demands for the use of fiber-optic sensors powered by long optical fibers is forcing developers to solve problems associated with powering these remote sensors. Due their non-electric character, are suitable many uses, including military applications. Army Czech Republic very interested in this type fiber sensor as it fulfils significant prerequisites areas. However, army’s requirements challenging because they require supply cables which there attenuation power. At same time, a need high sensitivity. subject our research team’s work was amplifiers power army already uses short distances cannot ignite gas mixture an explosive concentration and thus meet strict explosion-poof standard. novelty lies discovered measurement technique that allows be remotely saving utilizing duplex communication circulator. Furthermore, presents innovative approach optimization entire using bidirectional, sensory, polarization-maintaining fiber. proposed first verified laboratory conditions at Optoelectronics Laboratory University Defense Brno, further tests were carried out training areas Boletice Březina Republic, member North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
